The Mongol Empire

1206 – 1405

The Mongol Empire, one of the largest empires in history, was shaped by its legendary rulers, Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan. Genghis Khan united the Mongol tribes and forged a vast empire that stretched from Asia to Europe through his exceptional military strategies and leadership. His conquests created a vast network of trade and communication across Eurasia. Kublai Khan, Genghis Khan’s grandson, expanded the empire further and established the Yuan Dynasty in China. His rule marked a period of cultural exchange and economic growth, as well as significant developments in trade and governance within the empire.
